Up until very recently, "00" model
vehicles were few and far between and available mainly as kits.
Oxford Diecast pioneered the way with this range of "00" vehicles (at
around £3 a shot) and since then, the other producers have joined the
scene such as CLASSIX and Base TOYS. OD also has numerous vehicles
in "O" gauge and have now introduced a range in "N"
gauge. Never
has the modeller been so well catered for.

The MBF is an organisation run for Model
collectors by model collectors. No self respecting modeller should
be without it. They also issue a jam packed magazine every month
which contains articles on building kits, building from scratch and also
news of new releases from all the manufacturers. Throughout the
year numerous shows are held up and down the country and the monthly
magazine keeps you posted on all events. On top of this the MBF
also has two mail order shops where members can obtain scarce items at
very reasonable prices. Every serious collector should join the
MBF and I personally can't recommend it highly enough.
